The Whole Megillah LLC formed in July 2013 as the natural evolution of the popular blog, The Whole Megillah, which debuted in May 2010 as the writer’s resource for Jewish children’s books. The blog expanded in 2012 to include Jewish-themed poetry and memoir.
At The Whole Megillah LLC, we offer the following services:
Through our blog, we also host contests such as the Rosh Hashonah Challenge for middle grade and young adult first pages and the Yom Kippur Challenge for memoir first pages. Our Write Your Whole Megillah novel-writing event during Jewish Book Month has also been a fan favorite. And, the most popular to date, our annual picture book contest.
Stay tuned for more information about the first The Whole Megillah Conference on Jewish Story, to be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014, together with the Association of Jewish Libraries, at Temple Emanu-El in New York City. Panels include children’s, fiction, memoir, and poetry. We’re working on a great line-up of authors, agents, and editors.
